There should be a sane way to hook into Resource instantiation once it's loaded

Consider the following example. This looks like jumping through the hoop to simply set a few ivars on every loaded resource.
We need to add a special hook for that. Right now DM core directly uses #allocate, and trying to advice that, even if possible, is playing with fire.
