
Connections are not reset (reconnected) if dropped by Postgres

If PostgreSQL drops a connection (idle too long etc) DM doesn't try to reset a connection.

Do you have a test case to reproduce this easily? So I can test whether my fix works correctly, the do_postgres driver has been refactored a bit so this could be solved easier.

Sure, all you have to do is drop a connection manually in pgadmin or shut postgres daemon down.

Could you verify this? I've committed a fix to do_postgres that should solve this. If it isn't solved, please let me know.
