
enum typecast fails when value is nil

It should be possible for an enum to be nil ( either to let the default values take control or in cases where nil is an allowable value )
attached is a patch that patches dm_types to allow a nil value passed in to enum.typecast to return nil
the patch also contains an updated unit spec to test this out.
