do_mysql does not compile with MySQL 4.1.22
Reported by Dan Kubb (dkubb) | May 4th, 2008 @ 11:25 PM
In IRC ivey reported a problem compiling do_mysql with MySQL 4.1.22. Here is the pastie he sent with the output:
If we need a testbed, ivey can setup an account on a host with 4.1.22 if needed.
I think in general we should test do_mysql with the latest stable versions of MySQL 3.x, 4.x and 5.x. A large number of people still run 3.x and 4.x in production.. and if i had to guess, more people than who run 5.x in production.
Once this ticket is complete, we should speak with Sam about getting the CI server set up with other versions of MySQL to test against.

Hmm...
Scott? Got a ball-park idea of what this is gonna take? Seems... inconvenient. :-(

Will try to test with DO 0.9.0. This seems to be regarding the older SWIG based DO.
Scott, please testify compiling do_mysql 0.9.0 with MySQL 4.x and close dis out.

- Milestone cleared.
- State changed from new to resolved
Done, working with 4.1.25. We'll target Mysql 3.x after 0.9.0 is released.
