Support for utc time fields
Reported by kgiszczak | May 27th, 2010 @ 12:44 PM | in 1.1
There is a ticket about this but it's dead for almost a
year:

Are there any plans to support time fields converted to utc?

@Martin: I'm assigning this to you because you said you had a UtcDateTime type at one time.
@kgiszczak: In the meantime, setting your TZ environment variable to "utc" will cause all Time objects to use the UTZ timezone.

There's an idea about adding an :utc => true/false option to Time/DateTime properties and dm-timestamps could support that.

Since we have http://github.com/hassox/dm-zone-types for a while now, I'm marking this not applicable.
