Associations not loading for many to many with String Primary Keys

Basically what this boils down to is it can't load the associations for a many to many relationship after having selected multiple rows if one of the models has a string primary key. It returns an empty result.
I discovered this when trying to use UUIDS in a regular String Primary Key column.
I am using the latest commit from dm-core/next.
I have attached some sample code that will replicate the problem.
(should I be using Gist for this? This is my first Ticket!)

- State changed from “accepted” to “resolved”
This should now be resolved in the latest dm-core/next branch. This bug was fixed with other typecasting fixes performed earlier today.
