acts_as_sphinx

It could be usefull to have acts_as_sphinx plugin for DataMapper. Sphinx (http://www.sphinxsearch.com) works many, many times faster than Ferret. It indexes my 2.5 mln MySQL table in less than 1 minute (against several hours in Ferret). Searching any record takes also about 1-2 ms.

I've just about got acts_as_sphinx working with DataMapper and wouldn't mind being assigned to this ticket.

Foy, just cleaning out some older tickets in Lighthouse. Do you still have a working Sphinx adapter for DM? Or do you recommend something else (like dm-ferret-adapter)?
Not having done full text indexing much before, I have no idea if Ferret is better/different than Sphinx.
If you want me to assign this to you I'll do so, otherwise I'll mark it as invalid. Anyone is free to create adapter plugins now, and doesn't need t be coordinated through Lighthouse.
